Mikkeller Passion Pool (sea salt and passion fruit) at the Garden, inside the Public Market. This Leipzig Gose Style ale is an incredible choice for anyone who loves a potently fresh tasting sour style beer. This pungent passion fruit based ale is extremely addicting on a hot day when your looking for something refreshing without sacrificing flavor. When poured, it comes out a nice cloudy golden color with an intense aroma of fresh passion fruit. For anyone worried about the overly sweet smell don’t worry, the added sea salt really helps keep the ale stay well balanced and admirable while still also being subtle enough to not be deterring. Overall this beer gets a big thumbs up from me and will stay one of my favorite sours to this date!
